I am a fan of things that can be made at home and can help a person without having an allergic reaction to the ingredients in the product. I spend a lot of time researching to find these products. I have had keratosis for years and could never figure out to help it. Eventually I came across using sugar scrubs to help it. The problem was I kept having reactions to the store bought products! Eventually I figured out how to make my own and now you can too!

Ingredients: (amounts depend on how much you want to make)

Coconut oil

Olive Oil

Sugar

Essential Oil of your choice

Mason jar

Food coloring if you want a pretty color

Instructions:

Place mason jar (or jar of your choice) in a pan with water. Put coconut oil in jar. Heat coconut oil until liquid. Then add sugar. Stir. Add in olive oil to help maintain a pliable consistency after it has cooled. Stir. Add in color and essential oil. Stir until blended. Turn off oven and let cool. Once it has cooled remove the jar from the pot of water and seal the container.

Use when you shower to exfoliate and make your skin feel smooth!
